OVAL supports the national awareness campaign on endocrine disruptors for the FPS Public Health

OVAL, a creative brand experience agency, developed the communication strategy for the FPS Public Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment's national awareness campaign on endocrine disruptors.
From awareness to behavioural change
The campaign, which starts on 1 April 2026, is aimed at parents of young children and is part of the National Action Plan on Endocrine Disruptors (NAPED). Endocrine disruptors are chemicals that can disrupt our hormonal system and are found in everyday products such as packaging, toys, textiles and personal care products. Infants are particularly at risk of exposure to these substances, especially in the first 1,000 days of life.
OVAL has translated this complex issue into a clear, easy-to-understand communication strategy that not only informs parents, but also prompts them to take concrete action. The campaign is implemented using a broad media mix: Outdoor advertising, online TV, YouTube, Facebook & Instagram, Pinterest, display banners and native ads tailored to the media moments of young parents.

In addition to the media strategy, OVAL also developed a comprehensive toolkit for the campaign partners. One of the eye-catchers is a practical family planner with concrete tips for parents on how to avoid endocrine disruptors in everyday life. The campaign will continue to be disseminated through healthcare professionals, hospitals and partners' social networks and builds on an earlier wave of campaigns for pregnant women launched in 2024.
