OVAL opens new office with first edition of OVAL Nights

The offices in Brussels (Tour & Taxis) and Ghent (Lousbergkaai) remain where they are, but the Antwerp office moved a kilometre towards the city centre. There, on the upper floors of Mechelsesteenweg 64, OVAL (formerly The Oval Office) celebrated its new location last Thursday with a sizzling first edition of OVAL Nights. More than 170 guests were treated to several imaginative experiences, making it immediately clear what the creative brand experience agency stands for.
Founder & ceo Wouter Boits and managing director Belgium Jeroen Rigole gave the official kick-off, in the building's imposing stairwell. They reflected on the past thirteen years, the evolution into a European agency operating in four countries and the recent name change from The Oval Office to OVAL.
Amazement and connection
Throughout the evening, guests were treated to a surprise guest lecture by philosopher and professor Ignaas Devisch, a mysterious silent treatment and a beautiful composition 'Connecting Souls'. All with an eye on surprise and connection. OVAL showed not only its creative versatility, but also the possibilities offered by the new premises.
"With OVAL Sky, we are creating a new concept, instead of classic office spaces," explains Jeroen Rigole. "We want to be a place where people not only work, but we open our doors to the community and offer a lively space for connection and creativity. And with a beautiful view. So anyone looking for an inspiring place for a meeting or a workshop can come to us from now on."
OVAL Nights
The event also marked the first edition of OVAL Nights, the heading under which OVAL will organise evening events at regular intervals around connection and creativity.
"We stand for connection and OVAL Nights should embody that: in the future, we hope to invite our relations even more often to unexpected encounters and interesting discoveries like tonight," says Wouter Boits. "This first edition tastes like more - to be continued!"
